A Secret Message Found in Lincoln’s Pocket watch

The secret's out! A couple of weeks ago on March 10th, the National Musuem of America History told the world of a hidden inscription on President Abraham Lincoln's English gold pocket watch. (One of the museum's greatest treasures since it was donated to the Smithsonian Institution in 1958 from Lincoln's great-grandson Lincoln Isham.)

President Lincoln has been getting a lot of press in the past few months - most notably because President Obama has been looking to Lincoln's legacy for lessons in how to weather the current tough times in our country.  But February 12, 2009 also happens to be the 200th anniversary of Lincolon's birth and it's no surprise that the Smithsonian is celebrating in a big way.
