It was only a matter of time before Smithsonian Channel launched its own YouTube Channel.  You now have a chance to watch full programs, sneak peaks and specials right on your computer.

This week the channel debuted an exclusive interview with legendary Wanda Jackson, who is set be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame on April 4th, 2009. You may remember her from our program The Sweet Lady with the Nasty Voice, which highlighted her musical career, unique vocal style and influence from her old flame Elvis Presley. Her induction is such an accomplishment to women in the music industry that on Tuesday, March 24th her hometown of Oklahoma City declared it “Wanda Jackson Day.”
