Yes, we know everyone loves puppies and the recent puppycam phenomenon has taken over the lives of internet viewers. So much so in fact, that close to 1.2 million hours of time (that is an insane amount!) has been spent watching a litter of fluffy Shiba Inu pups grow.  The best part is that it all started innocently enough when a San Francisco couple set up a simple webcam in an effort to keep an eye on their baby pups.

But the Internet has a mind of its own sometimes and now the craze has caught the attention of not only 3 million viewers, but mainstream media like MSNBC, Time, People, The Guardian, The Inquisitor (AUS), and Gawker!

After you have taken 5 minutes out of your day to watch cutest-puppies-ever roll around and bite each others tails, check out some wild animals at via ‘Panda Cam‘ or one of the many Smithsonian National Zoological Park webcams where you can see take in the daily activities of cheetahs, gorillas, flamingos and more.

Got panda-monium? Spend time inside the giant panda habitat where you can watch them live, 24 hours a day.  If you’re lucky, you’ll get a glimpse of Mom Mei Xang and Dad Tian Tian playing with their panda cub Tai Shan, who just turned three this past July.

You can also check out photos, sign up for panda news from the zoo and take a look at some other fun links.

Don’t forget to tell your friends about the Pandacam- who knows maybe pandas will become the next internet craze!
